home and two adjoining guest houses.
Each room, with private bath/shower, is decorated in a relaxed
atmosphere of Victorian times.
Situated among the picturesque oaks of the Lower Garden District of New Orleans, the Bed and Breakfast is located seventeen blocks from the French Quarter and twelve blocks from the Convention Center.

Fairchild House Bed and Breakfast is comprised of twenty rooms.
Listed below are descriptions of our different "styles" of rooms.
More than one of each style may be available.
One Bedroom Suites
Located in the 1841 home and the Guest House
1) This suite has a king bed, hardwood floors, private bathroom with shower, telephone with voice mail. The sitting room has a TV (no cable), refrigerator, in room coffee maker, and a ceiling fan. Walk through the windows from either the bedroom or the sitting room to go out on to your private balcony.
2) This suite has a king bed, hardwood floors, private bathroom with shower, telephone with voice mail. The room features a large sitting room with a couch (no sofa sleeper) and dinning table and cable TV. There is a small kitchen furnished with cooking utensils, a refrigerator, and microwave and in room coffee maker. Walk out onto your private balcony through the windows from the sitting room.
3) This suite has a king bed in the bedroom, bathroom with tub and shower combo. The living room has a day bed and cable TV. The room also has a kitchen furnished with all cooking utensils, refrigerator and in room coffee maker, no microwave.
Superior Rooms
Located in the 1841 home and the Guest House
All superior rooms have queen beds, hardwood floors, private bathrooms with tub/shower combo, telephones with voice mail, TV (no cable), and in room coffee maker. One room has a shower only
Deluxe Rooms
Located in the 1841 home and the Guest House
1) One room with a 4 post queen bed in the 1841 home. The room has a 12ft ceiling and hardwood floor, private bathroom with shower, telephone with voice mail, TV (no cable), refrigerator and in room coffee maker.
2) One king bed, hardwood floors, private bathroom with tub and shower combo, telephone with voice mail, TV (no cable), and in room coffee maker. The room located in the Guesthouse has a ceiling fan, a kitchenette with a 2 burner stove top and refrigerator.
3) Two double beds, rooms are carpeted, private bathrooms with shower, telephone with voice mail, TV (no cable), and in room coffee maker.
Standard Rooms
Located in the 1841 home and the Guest House
1) One Double Bed – These rooms are small and cozy. All have private bathrooms with showers, telephone with voice mail, TV (no cable), and in room coffee maker. Some have hardwood floors and in room coffee maker. The smallest one has a private bathroom with tub and shower combo, a ceiling fan, and no coffee maker.
2) One Queen Bed – These rooms are a little bigger than the double-bedded rooms. The rooms are carpeted, have a ceiling fan, private bathrooms with tub and shower combo, telephone with voice mail, TV (no cable), and in room coffee maker. One has hardwood floors, shower only and no coffee maker.
